As we stated before, sometimes, a full inspection and court worthy report is needed in order to properly document the lost value sustained by a motor vehicle.  In cases like these, our office will drive to the vehicle owner and inspect the repair quality and general quality of the subject vehicle. Our office will then conduct the appropriate market research and perform all the tasks needed to produce a credible dollar value estimation as to the residual diminished value suffered by the subject vehicle.

 

These USPAP compliant reports also include:

  • An AutoCheck ™ report
  • An ACV calculation
  • A pre-loss reasonable trade in calculation
  • Market research supports showing comparable vehicles on the private market (if applicable)

 

When someone requests that our office produce a USPAP compliant DV report, we spring into action.  Over years we have developed a method to quickly coordinate for an inspection, conduct fresh market research, run necessary reports and gather required data, and then compile everything into a report that contains all the elements required to be considered an ethical, credible, and reliable reflection of the research conducted and data gathered.  The end result is normally a 35 – 45 page report that specifically details and documents the amount of diminished value an automobile has suffered.

A fully compliant USPAP report will cost $250.00 in the D/FW and East Texas Areas.  We help clients with diminished value all over the U.S. - clients falling outside our local area may require an inspection fee.
